How HEPA Air Cleaning Works?
HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filters work by forcing air through a fine, microscopic fiberglass mesh. As the internal fan draws polluted air into the device, particles are trapped using three primary methods:
Interception: Larger particles fly along the airflow line and smash directly into the fibers.
Impaction: Mid-sized particles can't navigate the twists and turns of the mesh fast enough, getting caught in the dense webbing.
Diffusion: The smallest, microscopic particles (like smoke and viruses) bounce around erratically in a zig-zag pattern, eventually bumping into a fiber and sticking to it.
